Now that spring is in the air, I decided to feature an outfit with touches of poppy colors that really liven it up. All of these pieces are gorgeous - the chinos, blazer, and bag are great wardrobe staples, and the gingham top has a bit of a retro feel while the pumps are a fabulous statement piece. This outfit isn't for those who want to blend in with the drapes...or those who are averse to getting in touch with their feminine side. Styling this look was amazing. From the classic Longchamp tote to the saucy sparkled loafers, I was excited about everything. One of my favorite things about this outfit is how apart form each other, the individual pieces can be much more subdued, but together they make quite the statement. Hope you all have a lovely day!

Femininity

Femininity by Pretty Keen featuring a silk bow blouse

I really like this look. The yellows and greens give it a very fresh feel and the polka dots are very playful. I experimented with texture handling the leathers of the bag and flats with the chiffon of the blouse and that exquisite sheen of the skirt. Tie-neck blouses are lovely, and the diamond bracelet is of course, a very nice touch too. :)

A put-together look in polished neutrals. A great substitute for the flats would be a pair of black leather riding boots.Tie-neck blouses are some of my favorites because they offer a crisp and clean femininity while satisfying the flouncy girly girls out there like me. A white tie-neck like the one above is especially versatile and a great piece to invest in. Houndstooth works extraordinarily well in winter and will never go out of style. I kept the accessories clean and polished - the bag is especially beautiful. Finally, this red shade of polish is one that every woman should have in her collection and acts as a neutral itself through its versatility.
